Born in Chattanooga, TN, Starr Haney is an award winning figurative artist known primarily for her studies in color and light, shadow and shine. “My work, these days, tends to focus on animals and figures. My commissioned portrait work tends to evoke the playful spirit of the subject. My mediums are primarily oil and metal leaf.”

Starr has a diverse range of influences stemming from her time spent living in Texas and Colorado. For the last decade, she has been back home in the South developing her craft, blending her love of travel and cultural experiences with her love of her southern roots.
